Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Cargo Operative Drivers Birmingham Airport (Starley Way, B26) Ongoing Monday-Friday Work AM Shifts & 18:00 Starts Available Immediate Starts Available Ultimate Recruitment is recruiting Class 1 Drivers to join an established air cargo operation near Birmingham Airport. This is not ad-hoc work. We have ongoing Monday to Friday requirements with regular work available throughout 2026. No previous Cargo Operative experience is required full paid training in air cargo handling and aviation security will be provided.

PAYE Rates (Including Rolled-Up Holiday Pay) Days:
From £17.86 per hour Midweek Earlies:
From £18.82 per hour Midweek Lates:
From £19.04 per hour Midweek Nights:
Up to £19.62 per hour Weekend

Shifts:

Up to £21.22 per hour Overtime & Bank Holidays:
Up to £34.86 per hour What You'll Need HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card Ability to pass a Basic DBS check 5-year work history (required for aviation security clearance) Reliability and flexibility Please only apply if you meet the above requirements. What You'll Be Doing Airport-side cargo trunking and vehicle movements Working within a secure air cargo operation Following aviation security procedures Completing vehicle checks and paperwork Supporting cargo operations where required Once we receive your details, we will contact you to begin the DBS and 5-year referencing process.
