Class 2 Driver

Overview

We are looking for Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a specialist delivery company based in Birmingham.

The client delivers IT, Medical, Scientific, and large printing equipment throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

All deliveries involve positioning the goods where required, unpacking, and removal of the outer packaging. Training is provided for this type of assignment.

A successful candidate would expect to spend most of the time in the UK, with trips to Ireland and Europe from time to time. Nights out run at approximately one per week but can increase according to workflow.

Vehicles are well maintained, of very high specification, and have well-appointed high roof cabs. The workforce is settled and steadfast; all staff have 10+ years of service, many up to 25+ years. Full uniform is provided and you will work in a friendly and relaxed environment.

• Hold a valid Class 2 Licence, CPC and Digicard, with at least 12 months of experience for insurance
• Friendly and outgoing
• Capable of manual handling as needed
• Flexible to take on nights out
• Happy to deliver and work in Ireland / Europe as and when needed

• £16.00 Ph or £17.93 Ph with rolled up holiday pay
• Weekends – Time and a half / Double time
• Permanent contract after 12 weeks completed
