Job Overview
Forklift Reach Driver (ASAP) –
Location:
Erdington, Birmingham.
Shift Pattern:
Fixed Shift – 06:00-14:00, 15:00-23:00, or 22:00-06:00. Works Sunday‑Thursday. Full‑time temp‑to‑perm.
- Operate a reach forklift within a new distribution centre.
- Perform general warehousing duties (booking goods in, putting away stock, picking and packing).
- Official, in‑date Reach licence (RTITB or ITSSAR, preferably D2).
- Minimum 12 months of experience (ideally).
- Ability to operate a forklift without relying on cameras to judge height.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Safe and responsible driver, always practising observation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience with excess of 8‑meter or above high racking.
- Physically fit to lift.
- Fully flexible with any warehouse duties required.
Pay range: £13.54 to £18.00 per hour.
