HGV Class 1 Driver

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Birmingham. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, or Articulated Lorry Driver.

• Days
  - Monday
  - Friday: start times between 03:00-06:00

• £16.98 per hour (basic).
• £22.57 after 48 hours.

• Depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
• Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules

• A valid UK Category CE (Class
  1) driving licence
• A minimum of 2 years' Category CE driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good spoken and written English

• Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver

• Driver assessment required prior to start
• Industry-related training and ongoing support
