Mobile HGV Mechanic (Trucks & Trailers) Job role

What you’ll be doing

• Keeping HGV trucks and trailers running at their best through servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Hunting down faults and fixing everything from electrical gremlins to braking systems.
• Coming to the rescue at roadside breakdowns when customers need you most.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT and making sure they’re safe, compliant and ready to roll.
• Using the latest diagnostic equipment to work smarter, not harder.
• Keeping accurate service records.
• Delivering great service and representing the business with pride.

• Experience working on HGV trucks and trailers.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong diagnostic skills and a knack for fault finding.
• Experience with trailer repairs.
• A full UK driving licence.
• The ability to work independently and get the job done properly the first time.
• A positive attitude and pride in your workmanship.

Location: Mobile
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience (plus plenty of overtime)
