Position Overview

Ideal Recruit is seeking motivated Class 1 HGV (C+E) Night Drivers to join a well-established logistics operation in Birmingham.

This is a stable, long-term opportunity offering full-time guaranteed hours. We warmly welcome newly qualified Class 1 drivers looking to gain valuable commercial experience, as well as experienced drivers seeking steady night work.

Key Responsibilities

Operating night shifts with typically 1 to 3 "wave" runs per shift.

Handling palletised freight, including loading and unloading.

Completing essential delivery paperwork accurately.

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining safety standards on the road.

Candidate Requirements

Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence.

Valid Driver CPC Card & Digital Tachograph Card.

Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence (minor endorsements only, no CD/DD/DR/IN codes).
