HGV Class 1 Driver

Monday to Friday between 05:00-08:00 starts

PAYE

Days - £17.25 per hour plus holiday pay

Night out £25.00 per night out

Driver Require are recruiting Class 1 Driver for our client based in Hams Hall. Our client has a bespoke services in Logistics, Transport & Global Shipping sectors across the globe.

• Multidrop experience essential, can be 5-8 deliveries per day (Curtain sided trailers)
• Knowledge of how to use android handheld tablets, as the client uses an app for the deliveries, backed up with a paper manifest.
• Deliveries to building sites, loads are not handball, either FLT or telehandlers will be on site to offload.
• Types of products - fully assembled 1 st fix staircases, 2 nd fix ancillary products, rails bannisters etc, doors & linings.
• Typical week would be 50-55 hours

• 2 years experience of driving Class 1 vehicles on UK roads
• No major convictions (
  DD/DR/IN10's)
• Our fleet is 1-3 years old, trucks fitted with microwaves & fridges, leaver seats & aircon.
• Use of SNAP parking sites so no expenses needed
• Could possibly be a permanent position for the right candidate on a temp to perm basis
