Class 1 Drivers

Location: Nechells

We at 3 Recruit Ltd are recruiting Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Birmingham. Start Times are :

- Early starts between 01:00-05:00am
Shift lengths are between 8.00 - 14.00 hrs
The shifts for the Class 1 Drivers are set going to regional distribution centres up and down the country with between 1 - 4 drops & collections per run. Good working conditions and vehicles with no or very little handball (handball defined as cages or pulling an electronic pallet truck) depending on which RDC you ar delivering to.
The runs will be upto 6 shifts per week leading up to going onto a rota system with an aim of working 5 shifts one week followed by 6 shifts the next depending on the availability of your hours and the clients requirements.
You will need a valid Class 1 Licence (Held for 2 years plus for Insurance puposes), Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC card. We can pay you either as PAYE or Self Employed if you have a "Limited Company" and pass a Status Determination Statement questionnaire. Higher rates of pay are also available for weekends and Bank Holiday working.
