Job Description:

Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 123 years ago. Buffalo Rock manages a beverage portfolio that includes several global and regional brands. The Warehouse Support is a key member of the Warehouse Operations team responsible for providing support by performing general functions to support efficient warehouse operations.

• Provide general services to the Operations Management.
• Assist in the handling of product returned to the warehouse.
• Assist in the handling and rework of damaged product.
• Assist in general housekeeping functions within the warehouse, offices and grounds.
• Assist in the generation of documents used in the loading process as requested.
• Assist in the movement of vehicles in and out of the warehouse, if authorized.
• Verify picked orders before product is loaded onto truck.
• Assist warehouse loaders as requested.
• Must follow all safety guidelines as required by management.
• Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and observing safety rules.
• Required to complete other activities assigned by supervisor.

• Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
• Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including online and/or facilitated training.
• Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the Company from possible damages, theft, or other liabilities.

  High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate);

• Certifications and Licenses:
  Forklift certification through Buffalo Rock;
  Valid Driver License with good driving record (preferred)

• Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematics and communicate clearly. Requires basic knowledge of equipment/tools needed to fulfill essential tasks.

• All tasks within the warehouse are physically demanding and labor-intensive. Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach and climb up and downstairs throughout shift and to work in a fast-paced, warm environment, especially during summer months.
