Warehouse Operative

Free Spirits is looking for a Warehouse Operative to work in the Kelsall / Tarporley area (North West – Cheshire).

Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, the role offers £12.30 – £12.60 per hour and requires a full, clean UK driving licence. The successful candidate will work as part of a warehouse and yard team, driving a 3.5 tonne van twice per week and handling heavy furniture lifts.

• Unloading 40‑ft shipping containers full of furniture and decanting into the warehouse.
• Picking furniture ready to load onto 3.5‑tonne vans.
• Loading vans and securing the furniture.
• Picking furniture for Amazon Prime, DPD and other third‑party delivery partners.
• Labelling furniture and loading onto partner vans.
• General warehousing duties – defragging and creating space.
• Unloading returned vehicles from delivery runs.
• Sorting returns.
• Light repairs to returned stock.
• Readying items for sale on eBay.

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or Yard Operative.
• Full, clean UK driving licence essential.
• Experience driving a 3.5‑tonne van preferred.
• Good knowledge of warehouse activities including picking, dispatch and return.

Job involves heavy lifting.
