Monday to Friday -
Standard shift: 18:00 – 03:00

May vary to: 20:00 – 05:00 depending on business needs

Two breaks per shift:30-minute unpaid break PLUS 15-minute paid break

£12.32 plus shift supplements

We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to come join our Birmingham Depot. In this role you will be helping support your local community’s health needs by delivering a high-quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacies, GPs, and hospitals.

We are seeking a dependable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our team in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role starts as a 0-hour flexible agreement with the opportunity to become a full-time position for the right person.

Role Responsibilities:

• Receive deliveries, validate journey temperatures, and check goods using an asset tracking device.
• Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely to unload, move, and store goods.
• Sort deliveries accurately into allocated van routes for efficient and timely dispatch.
• Prepare and dispatch customer orders in line with Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
• Check, log, and place all incoming stock into inventory accurately.
• Support overall warehouse operations, maintaining cleanliness and order.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance procedures.

Key skills and qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
• Experience in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical, or food preferred).
• Able to work at pace while maintaining accuracy and safety.
• Strong team player with a reliable and positive attitude.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
