** Job Details
** This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
** Hours**:  39 per wek. Full Time: 5 days out of 7
** AM shift:
** Hours between 0600 am - 16:00 pm
** Rate of pay: £13.10 per hour
**** Job Purpose
** You will be responsible for processing the correct receipt and storage of products in the correct conditions according to the product description, picking, packing of goods and preparing them for transport according to Standard Operating Procedures. Working with automated systems, effective and efficient control of both the Goods Inwards, and Outbound operations according to corporate guidelines.## Key Accountabilities
* Providing core shift cover of the Knapp and Manhattan warehouse management system, meticulously, working precisely and carefully, with attention to detail.
* Showing a real interest in customers and how actions and handling of stock can impact them.
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
* Maintaining high levels of Inventory by picking accurately.
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck.
* Assist in the accurate and timely picking, packing and shipping of orders using automated systems and forklift trucks.
* Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure accurate stock levels using warehouse management software.
* Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in correct storage space.
* Ensuring that stock is rotated in accordance with expiry date (FEFO, First Expired First Out)
* Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly.
* Picking orders via automation systems or/and hand-held scanner from designated locations around the warehouse, working at height, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed in a timely manner to meet dispatch times.
* Achieve the agreed productivity targets and KPIs as instructed by people leaders..
** Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Required:

**** Essential:
*** Experience of working in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment or logistics environment
* Comfortable working in varying temperatures including cold and freezer
* Ability to work at height, standing and walking for extended periods.
* Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
* Ability to work with multiple platforms utilising desk top computers, PC’s, handheld devices and material handling equipment.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, to meet operational needs.
* Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
* Flexible attitude to work.
* Motivation and ability to work on own initiative and make decisions quickly
* The willingness and ability to work together with others towards a common goal.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
