Location: Nechells
Group Stock Controller / Senior Warehouse Operative
Onsite in Birmingham Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
Are you an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys taking ownership, keeping things organised, and ensuring operations run smoothly every day? We're looking for a proactive and dependable Group Stock Controller / Senior Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution environment where you'll play a key role in both warehouse operations and stock administration.

Group Stock Controller / Senior Warehouse Operative
The Role
This is a varied position combining approximately 50% warehouse operations and 50% stock control/administration.
Receiving and booking in deliveries
Organising stock efficiently to maximise warehouse space and accessibility
Picking orders using a Counterbalance FLT
Loading vehicles and supporting drivers with dispatch operations
Managing large façade panels and associated accessories safely and efficiently
Ensuring stock is accurately labelled and stored
Maintaining stock records, paperwork, and system updates
Updating and managing stock information within Net Suite
Helping to ensure the warehouse remains organised, safe, and operating to a high standard at all times

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a reliable and hands-on individual who will become the trusted second-in-command within a small team.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous warehouse and stock control experience
Counterbalance FLT experience (licence preferred but not essential if experience is strong)
Confidence operating FLT equipment safely and efficiently
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience with stock management systems (Net Suite experience advantageous)
The ability to work accurately while maintaining a good pace
A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of their area
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Most importantly, you'll be dependable, diligent, and committed to keeping the warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.

Salary depending on experience
Monday to Friday working pattern
5-hour week with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
No weekend working
Support with FLT licence refresher training if required
