Warehouse Operative

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE/ Bendi FLT operator — PERMANENT. Coleshill, B46.

We are recruiting reliable, experienced hard‑working warehouse operatives / Bendi FLT operators for our aerospace customer in Coleshill, Birmingham, B46. This is a permanent position via Rapier Employment. This company is a market‑leading adhesive, sealant and lubricant distributor within the aerospace industry.

• Minimum 2 years recent warehouse operative experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Physically fit (manual handling products).
• Looking to grow within the company.
• Willing to learn and take on extra responsibilities.
• Must be able to travel to the Coleshill area for 08:30 am, Monday to Friday (own transport preferred).

£25k‑26k per annum. This would increase with the more skills you pick up as you progress (will explain during interview).

£26k per annum if you hold a valid in‑date Bendi licence (with experience).

• Monday‑Friday.
• 08:30‑17:30 (11:30 finish every other Friday).
• 2 × 15 minute break.

• Working in a modern, clean and well‑lit environment.
• The initial element of the role of warehouse operative will cover picking, packing, put‑away & finalising. Once trained in this element we may look to train in other areas such as exports and goods in.
• As a warehouse operative you will be expected to lift items of various weights up to 15 kg. Using an order‑picking scanning gun, you will need to have a good level of numeracy and literacy as you will be expected to locate various items using a numbered system.
• If you have an external Bendi FLT licence, then this would be an advantage however, the majority of the work will be manual.
