** Birmingham, England — DHL**### Position Summary Seeking a Parcel Sorter position with a fast-paced logistics team where my energy and attention to detail will contribute to the successful operation of our distribution center. In this important position, i will be responsible for efficiently sorting, loading and unloading items to ensure timely delivery and excellent warehouse operations. Your mechanical acumen and materials handling skills will allow you to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere that values safety, accuracy and teamwork.

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a high energy team focused on excellence in shipping and receiving operations.### Duties
* Use warehouse management systems to precisely sort inbound goods by destination and size.
* Load and unload shipments with forklifts and other materials handling equipment.
* Safely use forklifts to move big packages around the warehouse, following all safety procedures.
* Assist with shipping and receiving tasks including inspecting contents of shipments, packing packages for shipment, and entering movements into the system.
* Perform periodic mechanical inspections on equipment such as forklifts for continued safe and efficient operation.
* Assist in managing the warehouse by keeping organised storage spaces and ensuring products are stored safely and are easy to locate when needed.
* Assist team members with construction or maintenance activities when required to enhance workflow or safety procedures.>
