QA Specialist - Analyst/Manager, Quality Engineering
We are working on behalf of a well-established and respected UK-based manufacturing company that is looking to appoint a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a business with a strong focus on high standards, customer satisfaction, and continual improvement.
Role Overview:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet internal quality standards and comply with industry requirements. You’ll play a key role in identifying quality issues and contributing to ongoing improvements across production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect products to assess quality, appearance, and conformity with specifications
- Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and test results
- Support sampling and testing procedures to verify quality and safety
- Work closely with production and technical teams to resolve quality issues
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards
- Assist with training new staff in quality procedures and expectations
Candidate Requirements:
We’re looking for individuals who have a strong eye for detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Essential:
- Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role, ideally within manufacturing
- Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control methods
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and technical specifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience using an ERP system to log quality data
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Able to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment

Working hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
