* Support Practitioners to join our team in Bishopbriggs on a permanent basis.

Our team and the individuals you’ll support:
You will be joining a dedicated team of Support Practitioners providing support to 4 individuals with varying support needs. The people we support enjoy activities such as cooking (including Indian cuisine), going out to explore, and socialising when their schedules allow. Our aim is to enable the people we support to live a fulfilling and valued life and to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

Taking an active role in planning and delivering person-centred care, you’ll help people express their views and wishes. You’ll support these individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, some aspects of personal care, meal preparation, administering medication and managing personal finances.

About You

At Cornerstone we don’t recruit on experience and qualifications. We’re more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team. We’ll pay you for your training and give you the practical skills you’ll need to build a career within the Health & Social Care sector. We’ll fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and your yearly SSSC registration fees too.

All we’ll need you to bring is:

  • Good listening and communication skills
  • A caring attitude and approach
  • A positive approach to learning
  • Willing to learn the interests of others and find new ways to explore these
  • The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too!)
Shift Patterns

Our friendly team provides support 24/7. Our shift patterns consist of mostly mid shifts from 10:00 to 17:00; there may be times we’ll need you to cover a sleepover shift from 10:00 one day to 10:00 the following day.
