Truefoam is seeking a motivated and experienced Cutting Line Lead to oversee the daily operation of our EPS cutting line. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
Qualifications- Experience
:
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment with demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment. Previous lead hand, or production coordination experience is considered an asset. - Skills
:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability, coordination skills, effective verbal and written communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving, and decision‑making under pressure. - Certifications
:
Valid forklift license. - Competencies
:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Cutting Line Lead is responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day operation of the EPS cutting line and helping ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. As an experienced operator and technical resource, this role focuses on maintaining workflow, monitoring quality and output, troubleshooting equipment issues, and helping keep production on track to meet customer and business requirements.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Oversee the daily operation of the EPS cutting line, including milling and laminating equipment, to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Assign work to operators based on skill level, workload, and production requirements.
- Operate all machines within the work center as needed to support production.
- Perform intermediate to advanced troubleshooting and support maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Monitor production quality, efficiency, and safety, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are used properly and maintained in good condition.
- Train new employees on equipment operation, production processes, and safety standards.
- Handle day‑to‑day production issues and escalation significant concerns when required.
- Record and maintain production data within company traceability systems.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards and report hazards or incidents
- Full‑time, permanent position
- Minimum 40‑hours per week working 8, 10 or 12‑hour rotating shifts (Days, with some evenings and nights)
- Consistent overtime required
- Starting wage: $22.50/hour with room to grow
