Purchase Ledger Assistant

Salary:
Circa £30,000 pa

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8.30am–5pm

Permanent

This is a varied role working closely with the Finance Manager and would suit someone with solid purchase ledger/accounts experience who enjoys being part of a busy, hands-on finance function.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Processing purchase invoices and purchase orders

* Accounts payable and accounts receivable

* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors

* Cost reporting and assisting with month-end processes

* Credit card and employee expenses

* Checking transactions for accuracy

* Supporting the wider finance function as required

We are looking for someone with good Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable experience, strong attention to detail and confident Excel skills.

Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts would be highly useful.

Salary circa £30,000 depending on experience, with 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
