Service Advisor

Location: Bishops Stortford

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Advisor position based in Bishop's Stortford.

This role offers a stimulating environment within a reputable independent garage or main dealer setting, ideal for experienced Service Advisors seeking to advance their careers.

This Service Advisor role provides a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, with achievable bonuses that can bring earnings to approximately £35,000. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5:30pm, with weekends off, allowing for excellent work-life balance. Our client values driven professionals who possess a solid understanding of parts terminology and workshop operations, combined with outstanding customer service skills.

Duties of a Service Advisor:

Managing customer vehicle bookings and service schedules efficiently
Providing excellent customer service and delivering accurate information
Communicating effectively with customers and workshop staff about parts and vehicle requirements
Ensuring all vehicle service and repair details are accurately recorded
Prioritising workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
Building strong customer relationships to promote repeat business
Supporting the workshop team with Parts and workshop support when needed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Service Advisor, ideally within an automotive workshop environment
Good understanding of parts terminology and workshop operations
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
A professional, customer-focused attitude and a proactive approach
