Leventhorpe is recruiting casual exam invigilators to join its exams team. Most of the work falls in May and June, with other sittings through the year, such as November re-sits, December mock exams and January vocational qualifications. Invigilators may also be asked to read or scribe for candidates, with training provided, and must be available for at least 20 shifts per academic year.
An enhanced DBS check and right to work are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
- Invigilate external exams and other school exams held through the year
- Read or scribe for candidates in exams where asked, with training provided
- Enhanced DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
- Availability for at least 20 shifts per academic year
- Previous experience of working in a school exam environment
- Training provided, including reading and scribing
- Priority admission for children of staff after a qualifying period
- Access to school facilities, including a sports complex
- Positive working environment in an oversubscribed school
