PPC Manager

We're working with an award winning, digital marketing agency to find a new PPC Specialist to join their expanding paid media team in Essex.

Established and well regarded within the digital marketing space, the business supports a wide range of SMEs and owner‑led companies with services including PPC, SEO, paid social, and website solutions. With consistent inbound demand and ambitious growth plans, they’re continuing to invest in their UK paid media function as the agency expands further.

You’ll manage a portfolio of PPC clients across a variety of sectors, helping businesses improve visibility, generate leads, and grow through paid search campaigns.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of PPC clients across Google Ads campaigns
• Building and optimising campaigns from scratch
• Managing Search, Performance Max, and Google Shopping campaigns
• Monitoring performance and making optimisation recommendations
• Supporting clients with lower to mid‑level ad spend budgets
• Working closely with wider digital teams across SEO, content, and web

The role is primarily focused on campaign setup and optimisation, with automated reporting already in place to allow more focus on performance and strategy.

The business is looking for someone who understands agency environments, enjoys managing multiple clients, and can balance technical delivery with strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years’ PPC agency experience
• Paid social experience across Meta, Linked In, or other paid media platforms would be advantageous
• Experience building Google Ads campaigns from scratch
• Strong understanding of Search campaigns, PMax, and Google Shopping
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Confidence communicating with clients and managing expectations
• A proactive, organised, and self‑motivated approach
• A collaborative personality and team‑first attitude

Experience working with SME clients or lower‑budget campaigns would be beneficial.

This role is based near Bishop’s Stortford, with hybrid working options available.
