Associate - Employment - Chelmsford with hybrid working
ClientA highly successful Employment Team seeing consistent and continuous growth within a full service, forward thinking UK law firm
Role- Working across a number of sectors including education, financial services, construction, transport and private client/agriculture, charities and public sector
- Expertise is sought in some or all of the below:
- General employment issues ranging from maternity rights to general contractual issues.
- Drafting service agreements, contracts of employment and staff handbooks
- Drafting and reviewing employment policies
- Transactional corporate support work
- Wrongful and unfair dismissal
- Redundancy and restructuring
- Transfer of Undertakings
- Employment litigation in the employment tribunal
- Discrimination (including sex, race, disability and age)
- Trade union work for employers.
- Professional Discipline and conduct, including advising professional conduct/fitness to practice panels.
- 3+ years PQE in Employment
- A motivated initiative-taker
- Able to think commercially and analytically
- Interest in and aptitude for business development and growth opportunities
- Knowledge of clientele within Essex/London and the surrounding areas, as well as nationally
- 30 days holiday (FTE) plus Bank Holidays
