We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller to join our client's reputable dealership in Bishop's Stortford, Essex. This position offers a strategic managerial opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee workshop operations, lead a team of technicians, and deliver exceptional service standards.   • Competitive basic salary of £36,000 per annum
  • Uncapped earning potential with an OTE of £43,000+
  • Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm

Duties of a Workshop Controller:
  • Managing and supervising a team of eight technicians to ensure efficient workflow
  • Allocating job cards and prioritising tasks according to customer deadlines
  • Monitoring workshop productivity and implementing process improvements
  • Ensuring high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction as a Workshop Controller
  • Maintaining effective communication between service advisors, technicians, and customers
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop
  • Organising daily workshop operations and supporting team development
Requirements of a Workshop Controller:
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent understanding of automotive repair processes and workshop management
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks
  • Positive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Full UK driving licence
