CNC Programmer​/Setter​/Operator

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision components from issued drawings through to completed parts.

• Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
• Program, set, and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines
• Manufacture components to required tolerances and quality standards
• Take responsibility for jobs from drawing issue through to finished part
• Conduct basic inspection and quality checks
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator
• Experience with CNC milling and/or turning
• Experience in manual engineering
• Strong programming experience
• Ability to independently take an issued drawing, programme, set, and run a machine until completion
• High attention to detail and quality

• Experience with ONE CNC software
• Experience working with XYZ machines

Up to £35,000, dependent on experience and skill set.

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
• Employees are paid for Fridays but are not required to attend unless urgent work arises
