This role will see the successful candidate carry out Fabrication Quality Control Inspection duties, supporting the Quality & Inspection departments and ensuring all work meets required standards and customer specifications.
The Role:- First‑off inspection of fabricated sheet metal, welded and assembled parts
- Stage and final inspection of fabricated sheet metal, welded and assembled parts
- Ensure all work is within customer and industry specifications
- Produce inspection reports and First Article Inspection to AS9102 requirements
- Identify and report non‑conforming products
- Support MRB (RCCA) activities and maintain records (Q‑Pulse)
- Measure components with various hand tools (vernier, micrometer, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with inspection procedures and keep relevant records
- Previous fine‑limit technical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 desirable
