- Salary: Very competitive (DOE)

We’re recruiting an experienced Pipe Fitter / Welder to support the fabrication and assembly of stainless‑steel process pipework and skid assemblies for systems used in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and research sectors. This role requires high‑quality welding/fabrication standards, strong attention to documentation, and a safety‑first approach within a GMP‑led environment.
Key Responsibilities- Stainless steel manual TIG and orbital TIG welding of process pipework
- Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
- Fabrication and assembly of process pipework and associated components (valves, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.)
- Writing and maintaining weld logs / traceability records
- Fabrication and welding of stainless‑steel framework and brackets
- Cutting, grinding, drilling of stainless‑steel components
- Review process diagrams and work accurately from production drawings
- Lay out welding projects, fabricate and weld to specification
- Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain welding safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment
- Onsite installation and maintenance operations (as required)
- Work in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Proven stainless‑steel TIG welding experience (manual essential, orbital highly desirable)
- Strong fabrication/pipe fitting capability in regulated/quality‑critical environments (pharma/biotech ideal)
- Ability to read and interpret production drawings and process diagrams
- Experience producing and maintaining welding documentation/weld logs
- Excellent attention to detail, quality and safety
- Recognised welding qualifications/certification (or demonstrable equivalent experience)
- Experience with orbital welding equipment and procedures
- Previous experience working to GMP standards
