Role Overview

The poster holder will be responsible for accurately producing print work in line with job specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department.
  • Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied.
  • QC to job requirements.
  • Maintain and process work according to the production schedule.
  • Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered.
  • Problem-solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department.
  • Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations.
  • Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy.
  • Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed).
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes.
  • Experience with HP Indigo 4 series.
  • Trained to HP Level 2 is desired.
  • Understanding Windows Operating systems.
  • Operational experience with print.
  • Demonstrable attention to detail.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious.
  • Flexible and effective team member.

Shift Pattern
  • 2 days on 2 days off (rotating week 1 Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat, week 2 Wed/Thurs)
  • Shift times 06:00 - 20:00 (13.5 hours) with shorter shifts on Fri/Sat (06:00 - 19:00)
