Job Description:We are seeking a talented and creative Associate Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and have a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of style. This role involves collaborating with the lead designer, clients, and vendors to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing interiors. Bonus: passion for furniture design and accessorizing.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of interior design concepts, with an added focus on furniture design and accessorizing (when applicable).
  • Collaborate with lead designer to create detailed design plans, including material boards, technical drawings, and 3D renderings.
  • Source and select materials, furniture, and accessories that align with the design vision and client preferences.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials, furniture, and accessories.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing design recommendations and addressing client feedback.
  • Maintain project documentation, including design specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to projects.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Interior Design required.
  • Minimum of an internship in interior design required.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in space planning, material and product selections, drafting, and rendering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and the experience or ability to learn other software related to design development (such as Programa, Sketch Up, and Canva).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for design and a creative mindset.
  • A self-starter who is proactive in asking questions and thrives in collaborative team environments while moving projects forward to completion.
