SUMMARY OF WORK:

Are you looking for a new, challenging and rewarding career that allows you to save lives and help the citizens of North Dakota during emergency situations?

Duties include receiving emergency and non-emergency calls from the public, quickly assessing the situation, determining the appropriate response, and dispatching emergency services such as law enforcement, fire department units, or medical response teams while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor under often stressful conditions.

You will work rotating shifts based on a 16-week cycle where each team member works four (4) 12-hour shifts and then has four (4) days off. Each four-day shift will alternate between days and nights, which provides ample time adjustment between day and night shifts. (Some employees have compared this to getting an annual salary for working six months of the year.)
