A Housekeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel, servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stocking carts with room supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. This role may also include conducting 'deep cleaning' activities within guest rooms in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work well under stress and high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and hotel needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
• Comply with all Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including preparing the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens.
• Remove all trash and dirty linens from guest rooms.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
• May need to disassemble furniture or items for deep cleaning, such as changing AC filters, cleaning coils, touching up paint or furniture, or rehanging doors.
