Position: Total Rewards Coordinator

Overview

North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Total Rewards Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. The Total Rewards Coordinator supports the design and execution of key HR operational and total rewards activities by managing payroll, benefits, compliance, leave administration, and HR data systems.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage and support payroll functions.
  • Process and verify benefit enrollments for team members, as assigned. Reconcile monthly payroll/benefit billings and reports, to include collaboration with vendors to receive, distribute and clarify benefit and deduction information
  • Build and run HR reports, update key HR metrics via dashboards or reports, etc. as needed by HR Business Partner and agency leaders and assist in surveys and research on specific HR issues.
  • Be responsible for operational human resource processes and systems, continually working towards optimization and automation of those processes, as well as data integrity, application, and analysis
  • Support the HR team to develop and implement a variety of enterprise level and agency specific solutions, programs, and policies.

In order to qualify for this position, you must have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years’ work experience with payroll administration. Work experience should also include providing a high level of customer service and assisting in business/organizational support activities.
  • This position follows a hybrid work schedule based at our Bismarck office, so candidates must live within a commutable distance.
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
  • Experience in ND state payroll via the People Soft system
  • Experience with administering NDPERS benefits
