Description

Bravera Holdings Corp. is hiring for a Desktop Support position in Bismarck, ND. Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for desktop computers, thin clients, laptops, applications and related technology to employees of Bravera Holdings Corp. and subsidiaries.
  • Specifying, installing, and testing computer systems and peripherals within established guidelines.
  • Assist in the maintenance and testing of network servers and associated equipment.
  • Support and troubleshoot computer‑related software and hardware issues; execute Bravera’s Help Desk function including working within call center and help desk tickets.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to all internal customers via Help Desk calls and tickets.
  • Act as a self‑starter, promote teamwork and open communication within the department and with all subsidiaries of Bravera.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, ongoing usability, and upgrade of desktop computers, laptops, tablets, thin clients, cell phones, printers, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Develop procedures and programs to assure the integrity, security, reliability, and risk assessment of all communication systems, including anti‑virus programs and backup procedures.
  • Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
  • Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems (validation systems, file servers, email servers, application servers, administrative systems).
  • Assist staff in purchasing hardware and software, assess functional needs, and determine specifications for purchases.
  • Order computer and printer supplies as directed and maintain documentation on equipment and software.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations, including BSA requirements and proactive fraud prevention.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Associate’s Degree or higher (highly preferred).
  • Experience:

    Up to 2 years’ experience supporting Windows desktop/laptop PCs, troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware, installing software, patches, and updates on desktops, laptops, and servers; troubleshooting basic network, software, and printing problems; customer service experience.
