EMR recycles ten million tons of material annually, everything from beverage cans to aircraft carriers. As a Site Manager at EMR, you’ll support core operations and help advance our sustainability mission. In this role, you’ll lead a skilled team, represent EMR to local customers and oversee sit safety, material flow, inventory and shipping to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

• Work to create an excellent experience or customers and employees while minimizing costs and maximizing volume and margin at the facility
• Oversee preventative checks, maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities
• Ensure accuracy of stock through systems management
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements
• Oversee work products of third-party contractors
• Ensure compliance with city, county, state and federal regulations
• Analyze data, set goals, make recommendations and perform other duties

• Management/supervisory experience of daily operations, especially in an industrial environment
• Hands‑on experience operating equipment and machinery
• Experience in the recycling or demolition industry, with knowledge of scrap metal commodities
• Experience leading a team and committed to developing employees

• Excel skills and the ability to learn our proprietary software
• PMP certification or similar accreditation
