Job Summary

CHI St. Alexius is looking for a PRN RN to join the PACU Team. New wages start at $34.35 for new graduates and increase with experience.

• Accountable for all Registered Nurse duties and responsibilities, including unit-specific tasks.
• Demonstrates knowledge of unit standards of care, staff competencies, and individual patient care needs to facilitate proper patient placement and care assignments.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including care coordination, physicians, and management, using effective communication strategies to meet inter‑ and intra‑departmental needs.
• Acts as a role model and coach for leadership behaviors, helping others develop skills and knowledge.
• Successfully completes the defined job‑specific competencies, including age‑specific competencies as appropriate.

• Ability to organize personnel assignments and activities for others to benefit the unit.
• Working knowledge of clinical skills in patient care delivery.
• Proficiency in unit operations and ability to function efficiently during crisis.
• Basic Life Support Certification within the orientation period and meets re‑certification as required.

• Education:
  
  Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure:
  Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.
• Experience:
  
  At least two (2) years of clinical experience within specialty area preferred.
