This is a full‑time position in Bismarck, North Dakota, in a busy service department where you will handle a wide range of diesel repairs and maintenance tasks, working independently and as part of a team.

$40.00/hr – $65.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair diesel vehicles including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and related components
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues
  • Document all repairs and maintenance accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work closely with service advisors and the parts department to complete repairs on schedule
  • Stay informed on new technology and industry updates
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Assist and mentor apprentices and less experienced technicians when needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of diesel technician experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment and read technical manuals
  • Solid time management and multitasking ability
  • Must have your own tools
  • Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
  • Able to lift up to fifty pounds and stand for long periods of time
