Carpentry Foreman

Overview

As a Carpentry Foreman, you will direct a crew in the carpentry division. This role will have you working with crew members while encouraging everyone to have a commitment to safety, the people we serve, and the communities where we work.

• Direct and lead a carpentry crew to ensure jobs run effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain profitability for the division by tracking job hours against the production plan and communicating daily goals with the crew.
• Utilize blueprint reading skills to coordinate construction phases and consistently pre-plan work to be done.
• Pre-plan for day-to-day safety hazards and anticipate job-specific hazards, planning accordingly (SQPs).
• Uphold safety as a number one priority on all CCC job sites and ensure employees stay focused on safety and the safety of those around them.
• Possibly travel as part of the role.

• Experience leading a carpentry crew and strong independent problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and coordinating construction phases.
• Ability to pre-plan for safety hazards and look ahead for job-specific hazards.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull 50–100 pounds consistently.
• Willingness to travel for work.
