Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator

Now hiring for 2026 Season! Extensive travel throughout North Dakota & South Dakota during summer season approx April-Nov

Job Summary:

To operate and maintain heavy equipment such as loader, roller, paver, and screed.

All operators are responsible to:

• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written).
• Self‑motivated, team‑player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
• Troubleshoot and problem‑solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
• Monitor and discuss production problems with co‑workers and managers/supervisors.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.
• Extensive summer travel through the Dakotas.

Starting at $31.60-$33.40/hr plus $21.90/hr fringe. $350 WEEKLY per diem (covers housing) and full benefit package.

Minimum high school diploma or GED required. 1‑2 years of related experience and/or training in construction field is helpful. Must pass urine drug test!
