While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

The Consumer Product Group engineers strive to make the Coinbase retail app the easiest-to-use and fastest experience for accessing crypto. The Growth Foundations team builds platforms that are used by other Coinbase teams to deliver all types of notifications to our users vices built by the team are used by 50+ teams across Coinbase and powers all Coinbase products including Retail, Wallet, and Institutional.

What we look for in you:

• You design and implement frontend interfaces and backend services that enable users to create and launch notifications. Frontend is developed using React/Typescript and Backend in Go.
• You ensure that the backend services powering the notification authoring flows are reliable and easy to maintain.
• You participate in on-call to support the content infrastructure and internal users who use this platform.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• You have designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service oriented architecture.
• You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
• You’re passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together.

• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.

Pay Range: $186,005—$218,900 USD

Full time offers include target bonus, target equity and benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(k).
