The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for overall operations and staff supervision in the manager's absence. They should also be able to perform all essential functions of any branch position as needed including processing transaction, loan interviewing, completing reports etc.
Who You Are:A collaborative individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to handle situations in a calm and resolute manner.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to organize and prioritize workflow.
Able to perform basic mathematical functions.
What You Will Do:- Collaborate with Branch Manager about daily branch operations.
- Interview members for loan applications and assist with the loan process.
- Resolve member inquiries regarding credit union products or services.
- Supervise branch personnel in absence of Branch Manager.
- Effectively mentor employees, share knowledge and guidance as positive role model.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of financial institution experience required.
At least 2 years completed with an institution of higher learning at the collegiate level.
High school diploma required.
