  • Utica Park Clinic, founded in 1982, is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 300 employed physicians and advanced practice providers representing more than 25 specialties across 80 plus clinics in Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
  • The Medical Assistant position performs selected nursing and clerical duties that assist in patient care management.
  • Maintain efficient patient flow, assist the physician during patient exams, and perform all necessary follow-up in a timely and accurate manner while exhibiting quality care.
  • Be knowledgeable of medical terminology, routine office procedures, and medical instruments.
  • Be skilled in taking vital signs.
  • Administer medications and observe the five rights of medication administration.
  • Screen phone calls from patients for the provider.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Medical Assisting program, or credentialed (RMA, CMA, A ) or demonstrated Medical Assistant experience for more than 3 years. Credentialing may validate competency but is not required as a condition of employment.
  • Be knowledgeable of medical terminology, routine office procedures, and medical instruments.
  • Be skilled in taking vital signs.
