Physical Therapist; PT; PRN

Overview

Physical Therapist (PT) (PRN) at Tulsa Rehabilitation Hospital. Position involves evaluating and treating acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain, with emphasis on enabling functional independence through evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.

Position Summary:

Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate physical dysfunction or pain. Evaluation includes strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait, and activities of daily living.

• Independently evaluate patients and determine appropriate treatment strategies.
• Deliver and/or delegate physical therapy services to maximize functional independence.
• Apply evaluation skills and techniques, analyze patient needs, and use therapeutic interventions including exercise and other procedures.
• Assess and address strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, endurance, gait, and activities of daily living.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
