Recruitment Assistant

Chefs Jobs UK is expanding our temporary recruitment division and were looking for a Recruitment Assistant with hospitality experience to support our fast-paced temp desk. This role is ideal for someone who understands the realities of hospitality shifts and enjoys a dynamic, people-focused environment.

The Role Youll be a key support to our temporary recruitment team, helping to ensure chefs and hospitality staff are booked efficiently and clients are covered at short notice.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting day-to-day temporary bookings and last-minute shift cover Sourcing, screening, and registering hospitality candidates for temp work from a variety of platforms including social media Coordinating availability, rotas and shift confirmations Maintaining accurate candidate records, right-to-work checks and compliance Communicating quickly and clearly with candidates and clients Assisting with timesheets, payroll queries and general temp recruitment admin About You Previous experience working in hospitality is essential Proficient user of social media platforms and an interest in using them to attract potential candidates Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly
