Young Learners - KS1 Teaching Assistant

Are you enthusiastic about helping children thrive in their early primary years? We’re looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant who is reliable, proactive, and passionate about inclusive education.

• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for literacy and numeracy.
• Maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
• Support pupils with SEN needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

• Full school‑day availability (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM).
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN or willingness to gain SEN experience (training provided).
• A genuine commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing.

• Weekly pay and long‑term placement opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
