We are currently seeking a committed and resilient Behaviour Support Worker to join a supportive school setting in Blackburn from September on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about supporting young people with challenging behaviour and making a real difference in an educational environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils displaying challenging behaviour
  • Work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to implement behaviour strategies
  • Support pupils both inside and outside of the classroom
  • Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
  • Build strong, professional relationships with students and staff
Qualifications
  • Essential:
    Previous school-based experience
  • Proven experience working with challenging behaviour
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Calm, patient, and proactive approach
  • Ability to build rapport and de‑escalate situations effectively
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
