Senior Project Engineer

Overview

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting. We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in Blackburn. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Salary is £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience).

• Production of technical and QA documentation to underpin the equipment manufactured.
• Produce innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Have due regard to legislation, British Standards.
• Liaise with the client on designs.
• Carry out stress analysis, including hand calculations.
• Fully cost designs and produce a bill of materials.
• Offer project support in terms of collating and presenting documentation.
• Troubleshoot production problems.
• Produce system layouts and module assemblies.
• Work alongside the production team to ensure a successful delivery. This will be mostly working on site.

• Strong Mechanical / Electrical background with a mixture of internal and external training opportunities.
• External examples of training include CAD training and CNC programming and operation as required.

• Flexibility in start and finish times could be considered for the successful candidate.
