Location Blackburn, England Sector Engineering Salary £42,000 - £45,000 + OTE £55,000

Your responsibilities as site‑based Mechanical Engineer
  • Install, service and repair high‑precision 5 axis CNC machine tools
  • Diagnose faults and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
  • Assemble, dismantle and set up large mechanical assemblies
  • Support customers with breakdown response and corrective maintenance
  • Carry out planned maintenance to maximise machine performance and reliability
  • Work on customer sites across varying industrial environments
What we’re looking for in a site‑based Mechanical Engineer
  • Previous experience working on CNC milling machine tools
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic capability on complex machinery
  • Background within machine tool build or industrial maintenance environments
  • Experience working within a field service or customer‑facing engineering role
  • Ability to work on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical assemblies

Working hours:

Basic weekly hours 37.5. Typical working week 45 hours including overtime. Day shift only.
