Job Summary
Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is a global leader in critical power solutions. We are looking to add a newBIMCoordinator based in Blackburn, England, reporting to the BIM Manager. The coordinator will ensure the successful delivery of projects and BIM Execution Plans.
Typical Day- Digital delivery of MEP models and information management from bid stage to project close‑out.
- Create BIM/Revit families of bespoke LV Switchgear to project BIM specifications up to LOD
500. - Provide engineered solutions to client design requirements, routing Anord Mardix Ibar & Databar products.
- Liaise with trade partners to coordinate equipment and deliver clash‑free models.
- Support delivery of digital outputs within project teams and facilitate seamless sharing with other discipline teams.
- Represent Anord Mardix in weekly liaison with clients, engineers and design team members on assigned projects.
- Aide in maintaining Revit families and content creation.
- Produce drawings/models using Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
- Minimum 3years of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering in the construction field; degree qualification advantageous.
- Experience on large‑scale projects such as data centres or high‑rise buildings.
- Prior exposure to electrical equipment design preferred.
- Understanding of ISO
19650 BIM standards. - Demonstrable experience with Revit and collaboration with other disciplines.
- Experience with Autodesk Docs, BIM
360 and Navisworks required. - Proficiency in Dynamo programming with Revit highly advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel to site locations when requested.
- Full, clean and valid driving licence.
