I'm partnered with well established and rapidly growing FMCG manufacturer in the North West is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Blackburn.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong expertise to join a forward-thinking business with ongoing investment in people, plant, and processes.
Shift Pattern- 4 on / 4 off - days & nights (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am)
- No Saturday night shifts
Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will work closely with production and engineering leadership:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment
- Attend breakdowns and complete mechanical & electrical repairs efficiently
- Ensure all maintenance activity is logged and recorded accurately
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to root cause analysis
- Liaise with engineering management regarding parts, spares, and improvements
- Work as part of a small multi-skilled engineering team
- Support and mentor junior engineers where required
- Promote and maintain high Health & Safety standards
- Contribute ideas to improve reliability, process flow, and engineering best practice
