Recruit UK is working on behalf of a well‑established, highly respected Financial Planning firm in Blackburn that is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to support a growing team of advisers. The firm is known for delivering high‑quality, client‑focused financial advice and offers a professional, collaborative environment with clear progression opportunities.

As a Senior Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by producing high‑quality, compliant financial planning reports and providing technical expertise across a broad range of advice areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paraplanner looking to take the next step in their career within a forward‑thinking firm.

• Producing detailed suitability reports and recommendations across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
• Providing technical support and guidance to Financial Advisers
• Analysing client information and conducting in‑depth research
• Assisting with complex cases and bespoke financial planning solutions
• Ensuring all work is compliant with FCA regulations and internal standards
• Supporting and mentoring junior paraplanners where required
• Liaising with advisers, administrators, and providers to ensure smooth case progression

• Proven experience in a Senior or experienced Paraplanner role
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and financial planning
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively
• Experience using financial planning software and back‑office systems
